Course Objectives: The aim of the course; Definition of microbiology, mikroorgaz the characteristics and the tools and methods used in microbiology laboratories to explain.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1. Defines the term microorganism.
2. Explains the general characteristics of microorganisms.
3. Explains the nutrition and development conditions of microorganisms.
4. Defines the normal flora of the body and explains the characteristics of parasitic microorganisms.
5. Prepares microbiological preparations and performs staining methods.
6. Describe the techniques for identifying microorganisms in the laboratory.

Course Content

Definition and history of microbiology, microbial groups and their characteristics, the tools used in the microbiology laboratory, staining methods, sowing methods. Teaching Methods and Techniques Used in the Course; Lecture, Problem Solving, Experiment and Practice.
