Course Objectives:

Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). Can communicate in simple routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

Course Content:

The aim of this course is to make students, who are Waystage Users in the scope of Common European Framework of Reference, achieve A2 level, which is named as Waystage.

1) Adequate knowledge in mathematics, science and computer engineering; the ability to use theoretical and practical knowledge in these areas in complex engineering problems.
2) Ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems; ability to select and apply appropriate analysis and modeling methods for this purpose.
3) Ability to design a complex system, process, device or product to meet specific requirements under realistic constraints and conditions; ability to apply modern design methods for this purpose.
4) Ability to develop, select and use modern techniques and tools necessary for the analysis and solution of complex problems encountered in computer engineering applications; ability to use information technologies effectively.
