Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: This course is designed to analyse firstly the evolution process of Common Foreign and Security Policy and European Security and Defence Policy (ESDP). The enlargement policy of the EU and European Neighbourhood Policy will be evaluated. In addition to these, the relations of the EU with the USA, Russia, China, and North Africa will be evaluated.
Course Content: In this course historical background of Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) of the EU, Common European Security and Defence Policy (CESDP) are analysed. It also focuses on EU Enlargement Policy, European Neighbourhood Policy, the EU’s relations with the USA, Russia, China and its policies in the Mediterranean and several regions of the world are discussed.
