Course Objectives: | The study of scripting languages and their applications introduces the student to new ways of programming, and leads on to the area of component-based software, a technology of great importance to the next generation of software systems. |
Course Content: | Introduction to Scripting Languages; Web scripting Essentials & anatomy of the web applications; Markup languages and a quick HTML tutorial; Adding interactivity to web pages; Javascript essentials; CSS, XML & XSLT; A quick introduction to PHP; MySQL basics; Introducing AJAX; JSON; Server Technologies : Configuring Apache Web Server |
