Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: This course will relate all optical instruments, optical structure and usage related to optics profession.
Course Content: Technical terms and definitions, basic elements of optical instruments, basic characteristics of optical instruments, definition of pushometer, types. Eyesight examination, eye examinations, eye examinations, eye examinations, pupilometer, magnifying glasses, binoculars, microscopes, telescopes, camera (photographic machine), ophthalmic optics, symptomatology of eye complaints and eye diseases Optic instruments and principles used in routine examination and auxiliary instruments and methods, ophthalmoscopes, retinoscopes, fundus cameras, refractometers, tonometers, slit lamps and surgical microscope types, photo thickener.

1) Technical terms and definitions, basic elements of optical instruments
2) Basic characteristics of optical instruments
3) Lensometer (focometer) basics, definition of focometer, types I
4) Lensometer (focometer) basics, definition of focometer, types II
5) Display of the lenses on the focometry, determination of dioptric powers of the lenses
6) Pupillometers, magnifiers, binoculars, microscopes, telescopes, cameras (photographic machines), ophthalmic optics I
7) Pupillometers, magnifiers, binoculars, microscopes, telescopes, cameras (photographic machines), ophthalmic optics II
8) Symptomatology of eye complaints and eye diseases I
9) Symptomatology of eye complaints and eye diseases II
10) Low vision optics
11) Eye examinations, routine examination of the eyes and auxiliary instruments and methods, and optical instruments and materials used in examination
12) Ophthalmoscopes, retinoscopes, refractometers
13) Fundus cameras, tonometers, slit lamps
14) Types of surgical microscope, photo thickener.
