Course Objectives: | The aim of this lesson is to enable students to develop the knowledge about the human physiology; to demostrate specipic physiological mechanisms for the regulation of healthy life in different situations; and to descripe the metabolism of nutrients in health and diseases. |
Course Content: | 1. Introduction to Medical Physiology, Cellular and Molecular Basis, Feedback mechanisms 2. Transports through the cell membranes and the body fluids 3. General principles of neurophysiology and physiology of excitable tissues 4. Skeletal, Cardiac ans smooth Muscle contraction mechanisms 5. Intro to cardiovascular physiology and ECG 6. Functional parts of the circulation 7. Composition & functions of blood 8. General Organisation of the Gastrointestinal System 9. Digestion in Gastrointestinal System 10. Absorption in Gastrointestinal System 11. Hormonal regulation of eating 12. Urinary Physiology |
