Course Objectives: | The aims of this course are to determine the basic principles of physiotherapy and rehabilitation of heart disease and pulmonary diseases, to assess the steps to be followed, to gain knowledge and skills about planning of assessment and treatment for the patient. |
Course Content: | This course contains the anatomy and physiology of the heart, cardiac problems and risk factors, evaluation at cardiac rehabilitation, rehabilitation in coronary artery disease, rehabilitation in pediatric heart disease, rehabilitation after cardiac surgery, pulmonary system anatomy and physiology, pulmonary system evaluation, identification of pulmonary rehabilitation, bronchial hygiene techniques, rehabilitation at intensive care unit, preoperative and postoperative pulmonary rehabilitation, differences of pulmonary rehabilitation among neonatal and children. |
