Course Objectives: | Objectives of course are to provide a thorough introduction to the basic physiological concepts, and the homeostatic mechanisms, physiology of muscles and nerves, physiology and maintaining of fluid and electrolyte and acid-base balance, physiology of cardiovascular system, pathophysiology of shock, physiology of lymphoid system, and blood cells, physiology of immune systems. |
Course Content: | The course covers knowledge related to electrophysiology, physiology of muscles and nerves, homeostatic mechanisms, physiology of fluid and electrolyte balance, acid-base balance, acidosis and alkalosis, heart and physiology of cardiovascular system, pathophysiology of shock, development of atherosclerosis, blood cells, coagulation, and physiology of blood, physiology of immune and lymphoid systems. |
