Course Objectives:	The course will introduce the students to the biology of microorganisms with emphasis on prokaryotes. It covers structure, metabolism, genetics, growth and pathogenicity of bacteria.
Course Content:	Microbiology is the study of microscopic organisms at the unicellular, multicellular or acellular level. The course content includes understanding the basics of disciplines such as virology, mycology, parasitology and bacteriology.
