Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: This course is aimed at helping the student to grasp civilization as a concept, as a phenomenon and as a social reality. This way the student is expected to be able to analyze different civilizations and interpret the new concept of alliance of civilizatiopns with respect to its meaning and possibility.
Course Content: This course deals with the phenomenon of civilization in history with respect to the present global World. It also wants to question the thesis of the clash of civilizations in order to search for he possibility of a meeting ground for civilizations, which will lead to the alliance of civilizations.
