Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: To form the infrastructure of the basic information about banking and insurance business.
Course Content: Historical development of banking in the world and our country. The Turkish banking in Republic period, Bank systems, Types of banks, Central Bank Of The Republic Of Turkey, Supervision of banks, The definition of the insurance, its functions and the basic concepts of the insurance. The basic principles of insurance, The birth of the insurance, its historical development in the world and our country. The functioning of the insurance system, Intermediaries of the insurance, The establishment of the insurance contract and the obligations of the parts in the contracts, General condition of the insurance industry in our country and the world, its place inthe economy.
