| Foreign Language (English) 15%
•Applications with Thesis-Master’s degrees; a minimum score of 65 in YDS (Foreign Language Exam) or 79 in TOEFL-IBT is required for Turkish Ph.D. Program and for Integrated Turkish Ph.D. Program applications, a minimum score of 75 in YDS or 79 in TOEFL-IBT is required or an equivalent score in any other exam whose equivalency is recognized by the Council of Higher Education is required. Also a minimum of B2 is required from TOMER (Turkish Proficiency Exam).
•Applicants who apply for English programs need to have a minimum score of 75 in Foreign Language Exam (YDS) or 79 in TOEFL-IBT or an equivalent score in any other exam whose equivalency is recognized by the Council of Higher Education is required.
Assessment of Scientific Competence 20%
•Written exam or interview
* Student Admission for the Scientific Preparation Program: Candidates who are admitted to the Ph.D. Programs but have earned their Master’s degrees in a non-education field are required to take scientific preparation courses. |
