Course Objectives: | This course aims to provide advanced knowledge about digital media usage. It has also practical aim as giving students the computer skills including using photo editing, audio-visual editing, and recording software, multimedia design, and focusing on methods of creating digital media through painting programs, digital image editing, and time-based authoring programs and production in groups. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; - Visualize concepts. - Recognize typography principles and apply them to their work. - Enrich their visual vocabulary as well as design terminology - Build an awareness of design process - Explore composition, components, and concepts in graphic design by combining word and image - Experiment with creative ways of bringing word and image together - Exhibit critical thinking skills in the formation of graphic design and draw a synthesis to the given design problem and media - Establish a positive, motivating and stimulating team member character - Display succesful execution and presentation techniques with the use of various graphic design tools, media and computer technology. |
This course is developed for giving students basic knowledge on digital media and the opportunities it provides journalists and other media professionals, with a particular emphasis on creating content for digital platforms. |
