Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to equip the students in the fundamental principles, techniques and craft of broadcast journalism.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
- to gather, write and edit television news stories,
- to edit pictures,
- to present or news reading on the screen,
- to produce news bulletins,
- to use necessary technical equipments such as editing, camera
- to use online sources for broadcasting.

Course Content

The students will learn and produce general broadcast journalism skills, such as researching, writing, news reading and interviewing. Course will also cover news bulletin production, editing and reporting.
