Course Objectives: | This course is an introduction to the world of Information Technology. With the course, practical use of computers and information technologies will be presented to individuals in order to obtain, manage and use information that will be vital for personal and professional life. The main reason for this presentation is to ensure that individuals are a part of the information society and that they can use this dynamic structure continuously in their homes, schools, institutions and workplaces. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1. Developing an understanding of the computer and its components 2. Will be able to define the field, know and define the words belonging to the field 3. Identify the basic elements that make up the computer system (processor, input-output units, storage and other units) 4. To be aware of 21st century skills and to be able to interpret and learn about 21st century learning 5. Working with word processors and making various formatting 6. Render advanced applications using a Word processor 7. Preparing graphic applications using electronic spreadsheets 8. To learn effective presentation methods and to be able to present effectively 9. Preparing presentations using presentation programs |
Basic computer hardware and software concepts, computer networks, effective use of the internet, Microsoft Office programs and their use in related fields, web page design and web site publishing preliminary studies will be done. With the content of the course, to increase the awareness of individuals and other teachers about the use of information and communication technologies in schools and to ensure their efficient use.
