Course Objectives: Students, Wave motion in the formation, their behavior, their properties, and what sound is, how it was created, the properties, will be taught to the progress of the outer and middle ear.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1 Define, What a wave is, how it is constituted and several types of waves.
2 Environments in which the waves spread, spreading rates depend define that.
3 Period, frequency, wavelength, propagation speed, phase and phase difference and define the concepts.
4 Can express the behavior of sound waves.
5 Can define Sound intensity, the quality of sound and timbre
6 Define the concepts of resonance and acoustic impedance.

Course Content

Sound physics principles, quiet rooms used for audiometric observations acoustic structure, Reverberation, Sound psychological characteristics, calibration of measuring instruments and the principles of the human ear, the acoustic structure of speech and phonetics.
