1) Evaluate acoustic, anatomical, physiological, developmental and social aspects of normal and pathological hearing systems
2) Be able to perform otoscopic examination within limited scope
3) Analyse basic components of acoustic admittancemetry test technique
4) Be able to perform basic objective (otoacoustic emissions, auditory brainstem potentials, acoustic admittancemetry) and subjective (pure tone and speech audiometry and free-field) audiological tests
5) Analyse criteria and practical rules for masking in audiology
6) Explain how to use audiological test results for differential diagnostic aspects

Course Content

Hearing physiology, voice and features, audiometric regulations , hearing measurement techniques, audiometry are , audiometric examination, auditory pathways, audiological examination methods , implementation methods of testing , issues such as audiometry devices are covered in this course.
