Course Objectives: | Students taking this course learn about pediatric physiotherapy approaches including motor development, motor learning, cerebral palsy, congenital brachial plexus injuries, torticollis, orthopedic problems and treatment approaches. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; Students who can successfully complete this course; 1) Know the scope of pediatric rehabilitation. Know motor development and motor control. 2) Understand the logic of neurophysiological approaches. 3) Know and apply physiotherapy approaches in newborns and cerebral palsy. 4) Can make measurements and evaluations. 5) Can plan and apply physiotherapy programs in brachial plexus, torticollis and spina bifida diseases. |
To have sufficient knowledge and equipment in the field of pediatric rehabilitation. To define evidence-based practices in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation practices and to determine problem-solving methods, to use theories in health promotion, protection and care. To be able to use evaluation methods in pediatric diseases and to offer solution suggestions. |
