Course Objectives: | Operation room environment, patient and environment preparing for operation, infection control |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1.Defines the contamination sources of operating room. 2.Knows about legal problems in operating room. 3.Discusses the importance of patient safety concept. 4.Explains preparation of operating room, surgical tools and their arragement on the table. 5.Summarizes operation positions and processes of preparing patient to operation. 6.Explains aseptic technics. 7.Defines dressing types and technics. 8.Summarizes surgical sutures, pins, incision zones and cicatrizing. |
