Course Objectives: |
This course is designed to analyse and discuss several crucial issues in global affairs including migration and asylum policies, particularly the migration crisis, securitization of migration in European politics and at global level, the rise of populism, nationalism and far right, and the challenges for liberal democracy, 2024 European and French elections, climate change and climate policies, Green Deal in the EU, digitalization and AI and its influence in global politics, gender equality, and gender policies, Russia-Ukraine war and its impacts, and the role of BRICS, the elections in the USA and its impacts on global politics. |
