Course Objectives: Aim of this course is to instruct students about basic concepts of radiation and how to protect themselves, relatives and the environment.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1 - Explain radioactivity and radioactive decay.
2 - Describe the effect of early and late radiation.
3 - Applies the radiation safety guidelines.
4 - Compares the national and international applications of radiation safety.

Course Content

Basic concepts about radiation, short and long term effects of radiation, radiation protection methods, national and international radiation safety legislations are the content of this course.
