Course Objectives: | Objectives of this course are to introduce basic anatomical terms, anatomical planes, head, spine, upper and lower extremity, anatomical characteristics of bones, joints, smooth muscle, skeletal muscle, heart muscle anatomy, anatomy of circulatory system, lymphatic system and blood. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1. Describe anatomical directional terms and body planes. 2. Describe the names and anatomic characteristics of head, trunk, upper and lower extremity bones, joints and muscles. 3. Describe anatomical characteristics of cardiac muscle, smooth muscle and skeletal striated muscles of human body. 4. Describe anatomical characteristics of circulatory system and vessels. |
The course covers knowledge about basic anatomical terms, anatomical planes, anatomical characteristics of head, spine, upper and lower extremity bones, anatomical characteristics of joints, smooth muscle, skeletal striated muscle and heart muscle, circulatory system anatomy, anatomy of vessels and lymphatic system, and characteristics of blood. |
