Course Objectives: Giving ability about concepts and terminology that used in research phase and result phase.

Giving ability about basic trends in urban studies in terms of theoretical and procedural phases in national and international phases.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
Subject has relation with research focused licence and master degree programmes and can be integrated with statistics and seminar lessons, and also with thesis researches.

Course Content

Different methodologies and theoretical approaches in urban researches, research problems, design of urban research, collecting data in urban research, qualificial and quantitive techniques, selection and implementation of suitable methods and techniques in urban researches, field study principals and implementations in urban research, resulting research and analyzing the datas, presenting the results, implementing the methods.
