Course Objectives: | The aim of this course: It will help you develop proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing at the basic level of French. Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; When you successfully complete this course you will be able to do the following. 1. You will be able to introduce yourself 2. You will be able to greet people 3. You will learn the alphabet 4. You will learn French pronunciation and accents 5. You will be able to distinguish between masculine and feminine 6. You will be able to make plurals 7. You will learn basic question patterns 8. You will learn articles 9. You will learn prepositions 10. You will learn verb conjugations (etre, avoir, aller +1st group verbs) 11. You will be able to introduce someone else 12. In this course, students will reach the A1 level, called Introduction or Discovery, which is the Basic User of the Common European Framework of Reference for French. Teaching methods and techniques used in the course are: lecture, practice, individual work, group work, technology-supported learning and use of digital resources. |
