Exam Regulations & Assessment & Grading

Within the scope of the provisions of Article 45, Clause 1 of BAU Postgraduate Education-Training Regulation, “In postgraduate programs, at least one written midterm exam and one midterm/final exam based on documentation are required for each course. In courses based solely on practice, how the midterm exam and the final exam will be conducted, and the contribution of each evaluation to the course success grade will be specified in the course syllabus to be posted in the student information system at the beginning of the semester/term and announced to the students. In addition to the midterm exams and midterm/final exams, the course instructor may evaluate homework, laboratory and similar midterm/year studies in the awarding of the midterm/year end grade, if deemed appropriate. The student's course success grade, the results of the midterm exams and midterm/final exams, the midterm/year end studies and the course attendance will be taken into consideration and will be announced in the course syllabus at the beginning of the semester/term.”
