The aim of Marketing Program is to train individuals who are entrepreneurs, have effective communication skills and the fundamental qualities of marketing business and also who are able to use computer programs related to their field.

Specific Admission Requirements

Bahçeşehir University Vocational School programs accept students as a means of YGS applied by ÖSYM. The candidates are accepted to Marketing program by ÖSYM by considering their YGS grades, preferences related to higher education programs and quota & requirements of these programs. The enrolment of candidates placed to Marketing program is prosecuted by Student Affairs within the dates framed by ÖSYM.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

In the field of Marketing Associate degree is given to the students who have completed all the courses in the field of a 2-year program and obtained at least 120 ECTS.

Recognition of Prior Learning

The students studying in Bahçeşehir University may be exempted from some of the courses within the framework of some certain regulations. Under the condition that the content of a course taken in another institution is convenient to the content of the course taken in Bahçeşehir University, and by the verification of directorate of related faculty / higher school / institute,then student may be exempted from that course.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates

The students graduate from Marketing program with their competence gained are able to work marketing departments of private firms, sales department, marketing research department, advertising department, advertising & public relations agencies, media companies, chain stores, electronic trade companies, tourism agencies, hotel firms, customer services of banks and various companies and other marketing fields.

Access to Further Studies

Transfer to Bachelor Degree is determined by the Law in Offical Newpaper Dated 02.19.2002 and Numbered 24676. According to the regulation for the continuation of graduates of vocational schools to Bachelor Degree and principles that the council of Higher Education determined, vertical transfer exam and placement of graduates of vocational school students to bachelor degree is executed by ÖSYM. Students who graduated from Business Administration Program can make the vertical transfer to bachelor degree to enhance their training to upper level.

3 He/she can use information and communication tecnologies that necessary for their area, follows technological change and applies new technologies to business system.
4 He/she determines, analyses and solves problems that appear in marketing.
5 He/she adopts and implements new marketing approaches developed for the changing markets.
6 He/she follows and applies vocational current and economic developments in national and international area.
7 He/she has vocational ethical value that market needs in qualified staff, can use Turkish effectively in writing and speaking communication; have proficiency in foreign language knowledge to making international correspond.
8 He/She comments the current state by the technology and methods used in marketing management, advertising preparation and international market analysis.
