Profile of the Program

This program aims to provide students with the competencies to conduct research, develop curricula, and generate solutions to interdisciplinary educational issues by addressing the theoretical, design, and evaluation dimensions of educational programs in depth. The Ph.D. Program in Curriculum and Instruction is structured with an interdisciplinary perspective. It aims to educate individuals who specialize in curriculum development, program evaluation, educational assessment and measurement, and educational research. Students learn to design, implement, and evaluate effective programs within both formal and non-formal education contexts, and to improve existing systems based on scientific principles. The program includes both theoretical and applied courses in areas such as research methods (2 courses), curriculum development theories (2 courses), learning theories (2 courses), instructional strategies (1 course), and evaluation techniques in education (1 course). During the qualification and dissertation phases, students receive individualized academic mentoring from faculty members.
