INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING (ENGLISH, THESIS)


Profile of the Program

Program participants may choose any sub-specialization area as their career plans or they can follow the sub-specialization areas in Optimization, Network, Supply Chain, Revenue Management, Risk Management and Quality Management that are defined under the terms of today's conditions. Participants must take two obligatory courses, and must choose five courses within the restricted course pool. Seminer, Master Thesis Research and Master Thesis are obligatory for every participant.

The students who successfully complete the program are awarded the degree of Bachelor of Science

Specific Admission Requirements

In order to apply for a master's program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree and meet other basic program-specific requirements to be determined by the Institute Board. In addition, students applying to thesis programs must have an ALES score of no less than 55 points, as determined by the Institute Board in the score type they are applying for. The foreign language proficiency levels of candidates applying to master's programs conducted in a foreign language are determined according to the results of central foreign language exams accepted by YÖK, international foreign language exams accepted as equivalent by YÖK or ÖSYM, or the University English Proficiency Exam.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

The graduates of this program are eligible for the degree of Master of Science in Industrial Engineering.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Students who will continue their education at Bahçeşehir University may be exempted from the courses they took at their previous educational institution within the framework of certain regulations. If the content of the course taken is compatible with the content of the course given at BAU and is approved by the institute directorate, the student may be exempted from this course.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Master of Science in Industrial Engineering graduates occupy positions at public and private sector production and distribution facilities, financial institutions, and in health and service sector companies.

Access to Further Studies

Students who graduate from this program can apply to study in doctoral programs.
