Specific Admission Requirements

Before the start of each semester, the Institute requests the quota of Turkish and foreign students from the programs and, if any, the special conditions required for application. In line with the conditions from the programs, it announces the names of the graduate programs that will accept students, the quota for Turkish and foreign students, the documents required for the application, the deadline and other issues, and announces these to the candidates. Candidates, who are interest in graduate education, must apply to the Institute with the required documents within the period specified in the announcement. In order for students to apply to this doctoral program, they must hold; a Master's degree with thesis and have a minimum of 60 standard points at Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES), conducted centrally by the Measurement Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), in the score type of the program applied or ALES base score on GMAT determined by YÖK or the equivalent base score on the GRE exams. Since the program is in English, it is necessary to get at least 65 points from one of the foreign language exams determined by the Inter-Universities Council or to get the required score from the language exam to be held by the university to have the exam and the validity period of the exam should not have expired. Foreign Language Exam (YDS)/YÖKDİL: 65, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): 79, BAU Language Proficiency Exam: 65. Students must also receive a unanimous passing grade from the referees in the oral interview to be held. NOTE: The above-mentioned score criteria are the minimum values ​​for application and may vary in the Economics and Finance doctoral program.
