Course Objectives: | The principal focus for this course is the knowledge and skills that build excellent reporting in the new media age. The course also imparts and emphasizes core traditional journalism values, ethics and solid writing skills. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; - will gain knowledge on in-depth reporting, - will learn traditional journalism values, ethics and solid writing skills, - will be specialized on in-depth reporting, - will work as reporter or editor in the fields such as legal reporting, crime journalism, business journalism, political journalism, etc. |
Students are going to learn, which is important for local and international media, the coverage of politics, education, health and environment, science, arts and culture, entertainment, sports, urban affairs, the law and many other fields required to produce multimedia packages (print, broadcast, and online media). |
