Course Objectives: This course aims to focus on the concepts of globalization, communication and journalism from a theoretical perspective. It also analyzes the transformation of global media and communication in terms of new technologies and new media.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
- will be able to identify the impact of globalization and new technologies on the production of news,
- will grasp the global changes and their effects and develop skills on news making concerning them.
- will have an in-depth knowledge of the dynamics of news production on global news networks such as CNN; BBC, Reuters
- will gain practical skills in writing news in an international format and style,

Course Content

This module is intended to provide a firm theoretical and empirical foundation for understanding global communication and the production of international news.
