Course Objectives: | The aim of this comprehensive course is to provide students with general and structural information about the art of comics and to establish connections that can support their main education branches. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1) The student will be able to become a conscious reader by learning about the foundation of an art branch. 2) Recognize the narrative elements and story structure of a work of art and will gain the opportunity to compare it with other branches of art. 3) He/she will learn to question the work of art in layers with semiotic analysis. 4) The critical role of the artist will be seen in the questioning of the structure of the works based on mythological, folk tales, religious, political and social values. 5) The student will learn to examine and confront where he stands in the work of art he will produce. 6) This information will present the infrastructure that he will carry and develop at every step of his life. 7) Artists who are experts in their fields will be guests and contribute to the lesson in understanding many subjects. |
