Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide basic information to guide the student in the care of oncology patient.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
"1 Describe the cancer development process and risk factors that play a role in the development of this disease
2 Be able to define important interventions in cancer prevention
3 Explain the approaches used in the early diagnosis of cancer
4 Explain the approaches used in the diagnosis of cancer and necessary patient preparation
5 Should know the treatment process of cancer and be able to plan the care specific to the needs of the patient.
6 Understand the importance of education of patient and family in completing a good treatment process.
7 Define the roles and responsibilities of oncology nurse in cancer diagnosis and treatment process
