Course Objectives: The course aims to provide the participants with a deep understanding of oral and facial pain, disorders of the stomagnatological system, especially diagnose/manage temporomandibular disorders (TMDs), and the confidence to diagnose/manage TMDs.

Bu dersin sonunda öğrenciler şunları yapabileceklerdir:
1. Temporomandibular eklemin (TME) fonksiyonel anatomisini tanımlayabilecektir.
1.1. İnsan kafasının iskelet bileşenlerini, bağları ve çiğneme sistemi kaslarını tanır.
1.2. TME'nin parçalarını, yapılarını, biyomekaniğini ve işlevlerini açıklar.
2. Ağız ve yüz ağrısı kategorisini ve prensiplerini yorumlar.
2.1. Ağrı türlerini değerlendirir.
2.2. Ağız ve yüz ağrısını inceler.
2.3. Orofasiyal ağrının nasıl değerlendirileceğini tartışır.
3. Çiğneme sistemindeki fonksiyonel bozuklukları sınıflandırabilecek ve etiyolojilerini özetleyebilecektir.
4. TME'yi değerlendirebilecek ve temporomandibular bozuklukların (TMD'ler) belirti ve semptomlarını ayırt edebilecektir.
5. TMD'lerin öyküsünü ve muayenesini tartışabilecektir.
6. TMB tanısını tanır.
6.1 TME görüntüleme tekniklerini yorumlar ve bunların nasıl değerlendirileceğini açıklar.
6.2 Temporomandibular Bozuklukların (DC/TMD) Tanı Kriterlerini tanımlamak
7. TMD'lerin nasıl tedavi edileceğini açıklar.
