Course Objectives: | To use the devices and equipment used in opticianry actively and to gain manual dexterity by practicicing the procedures to be done in professional life. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1) To gain the ability to apply the lenses to tha frame and adapt to the user, 2) Providing prismatic effect with different methods and gaining the ability to apply to frame mounting, 3) To be able to make step-by-step process steps consisting of institution contracts, acceptance of official prescriptions, preparation and invoicing of required documents, 4) To be able to gain knowledge about the methods of sales of visual devices and service delivery in an optician establishment, 5) To have knowledge about the production of eyeglass lenses, to be able to use it correctly in sales and service offerings, 6) To know the legal regulations about opticianry. |
