Course Objectives: Orthodontic model, working model, orthodontic fixed appliances, orthodontic removable appliances and learning of wire bending and crochet construction techniques with theoretical knowledge for these appliances.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1. Will have theoretical and practical knowledge about orthodontic appliances;
2. Will learn the construction purposes and usage areas of orthodontic appliances;
3. To be able to do manipulation and wire bending of orthodontic appliances;
4. Will be able to prepare an orthodontic model;
5. Have theoretical knowledge about holding crochets and active crochets and learn how to make them;
6. You will be able to prepare removable and fixed orthodontic appliances for the lower and upper jaws.
