Course Objectives: The aim of this course; to teach teacher candidates early childhood program?s in this lesson, it is aimed that student will learn the historical improvement of pre-school education program in Turkey, the main features of the MONE 0-3 years program and the Ministry of National Education pre-school education program 3-6 years, principles, objectives and signs, setting properties, activities, learn about forms to be used intended. They should also have knowledge of training program planning (monthly training plan, daily training flow and activity plan), implementation and evaluation processes, and will also be able to select the methods and materials that will make it easier for children to learn. Furthermore, doing comparison between MONE 2013 Preschool Education Program and the other international program approaches.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1. Know the history of the Pre-School Education Program, program elements, principles and characteristics of the program.
2. Know the various early childhood education programs used in Turkey and abroad.
3. Methods and materials that facilitate children's learning will have information about family involvement in the early childhood education program.
4. Know and apply the planning, implementation and evaluation processes of the program.

Course Content

Principles and Elements of the Pre-School Education Program; historical development of preschool education program in Turkey; The features of the 0-3 Age Program, basic features of the MONE 2013 Preschool Education Program, principles, achievements and indicators, educational environment features, activities, forms to be used in the program, educational planning (monthly training plan, daily training flow and activity plan) evaluation; in-class practical work related to pre-school education program.
