Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to show students aiming for management positions how to benefit from the brain and neuroscience in business management and to explain how the senses and the brain play a role in matters such as decision making, persuasion, taking risks, from human resources management to sales, from finance to marketing.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
At the end of this course, students will be more successful in decision-making, managing perceptions, benefiting from their intuition, taking risks, and providing motivation while climbing the management ladder, as they will better know the weaknesses and strengths of the brain.

Course Content

During this course, we will first get to know the brain and nervous system more closely, and then the way the senses work and their effects on our lives will be discussed. Topics such as mistakes that may be encountered during decision making, perception management on issues such as leadership and motivation, persuasion techniques in sales and marketing, the importance of prediction, intuition, empathy, instinct and creativity in management will be included in the course content. Additionally, the latest findings in the fields of Behavioral Economics and Evolutionary Psychology will be discussed.
