Course Objectives: It is aimed to increase knowledge and skills about dialysis application. The purpose of this course is to teach; dialysis basic principles of materials used, water treatment systems, vascular access, and this way the use and protection, and hemodialysis procedures.

1) Defines the basic concepts of dialysis and can be used in other vocational courses.
2) Will be able to list cases that require hemodialysis application.
3) will be able to define the application steps of hemodialysis and follow-up.
4) Will be able to explain the complications that may arise in dialysis patients and the symptoms of these complications.

Course Content

The structure and function of the kidneys to be associated with the processing. Basic concepts related to dialysis and its relation with hemodialysis.
