As an advance version of Media Applications in Habertürk I, this course also helps students to face the real media practice meanwhile they study at university. Students will work and accomplish the real duties which will be given by the editors and coordinators in their departments. Although all students of Faculty of Communication take intensive practical courses for enriching their theoretical knowledge and getting prepared to professional media, this course will be the last and the most realistic opportunity for them before their first steps to professional life |
Course Objectives: |
This course - designed in partnership with Habertürk - will develop students' creative and practical potential through an innovative curriculum. The course is a new kind of degree provision, alert to the needs of industry and developed in partnership with it. It will enhance student's creative potential through a program that fosters individual knowledge and skills in a context of professional practice. Media Applications in Habertürk II offers opportunities to work in both educational and professional contexts as it will be delivered at Habertürk Media Group's headquarters. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
This course helps communication students to improve their skills in real media sections with an intensive practice. The students who succeeded in this course;
- will gain knowledge on in-depth reporting,
- will learn journalism values, ethics and solid writing skills,
- will learn the convergent nature of the new media system which brings together writing, editing, shooting, presenting, graphic work, photography, sound mastering, social media etc.
- will have a deep experience for they will be worked as reporter, editor, photographer, cameraman, graphic designer, PR staff and social media editor in Habertürk media group
