Course Objectives: | To inform students about basic physiologic concepts. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1- Defines the basic functions of the cell and the concept of homeostasis. 2- Describes the principles of substance transport across the cell membrane. 3- Distinguishes the structure and functions of different muscle types. 4- Describes how gases in the inhaled air are transported to the tissues. 5- Explains the parts and features of the digestive system. 6- Explains the parts and features of the cardiovascular and circulatory systems. |
This lesson contains basic functions of cell, contraction mechanisms of muscle cells, function of heart and blood circulation. |
