Course Objectives:	To inform students about basic physiologic concepts.

1- Defines the basic functions of the cell and the concept of homeostasis.
2- Describes the principles of substance transport across the cell membrane.
3- Distinguishes the structure and functions of different muscle types.
4- Describes how gases in the inhaled air are transported to the tissues.
5- Explains the parts and features of the digestive system.
6- Explains the parts and features of the cardiovascular and circulatory systems.

Course Content

This lesson contains basic functions of cell, contraction mechanisms of muscle cells, function of heart and blood circulation.
