Course Objectives: This theory course is designed to introduce the wide-ranging theories and treatment perspectives of psychopathology in adults. The major disorders covered in the DSM-IV will be explored, with an orientation on empirical research findings.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
Learns the basic system of DSM IV TR (Five axis evaluation). Knows the major disorders of adults. Compares etiology of major disorders. Recognizes treatment possibilities for major disorders.
