Course Objectives: Objective of the course is giving detailed information about railway vehicle mechanics, railway vehicle CER engines and operators, selecting engine and operator for railway transport vehicles.

Giving the ability, information and experience about:

1. Railway transport systems mechanics
2. Selecting the engine and operator of railway vehicles
3. Alternative and direct current CER engines, operators and control systems
4. CER engines and operators for subway and tramway
5. Braking technologies

Course Content

Railway transport mechanics, CER engines and operator definition for railway vehicles. DA Cer engines and operators, DA Cer engine control systems, AA Cer engines and operators, synchro Cer control systems, asynchronous Cer engines, asynchronous Cer engine control systems, AA grid feeding railway vehicles, braking technologies, other types of railway vehicles.
