Course Objectives: | Evaluating of urban planning as an intersect point between concept of urban renewal and real estate market, evaluating of aims-actors-effects of these concepts, defining the physical, economic, social and environmental effects of these concepts, discussing these in terms of urban politics and legal regulations, making general evaluation in the frame of planning. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; Investigating the selected models in urban renewal projects that are constructed or planned Researching conceptual effects in terms of social, economic, environmental and structural Evaluating the effects of planning decisions on urban renewal projects and real estate investments |
Researching of urban transition concept. Spatial selection and actors of real estate sector. Evaluating of effects of real estate sector to urban localization organization. Relations of real estate sector and urban transition projects (actors, aims and strategies). By the contrast of planning decisions and implementations, gathering research of real estate sector and urban transition investigations. |
