Course Objectives: Objective of the course is giving detailed information about planning, construction and operation period of urban road superstructure and a urban road superstructure management notion to master students that have related specific roles in public establishments.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
-Learning of urban road network classification

-Having the ability of superstructure driving comfort measuring parameters calculation

-Learning of superstructure meintenance criterias

-Learning the usage of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) in superstructures

Superstructure Definition and Properties, Superstructure Versions and Properties, Loads and Stress Distributions of Superstructure, Elastic Superstructure Layers and Properties, Elastic Superstructure Materials, Material Tests, Elastic Superstructure Projecting,Constructing,Management and Meintenance, Drainage.
