Course Objectives: The objective of the lesson is giving a basic information and different implementation samples about highway capacity analysis to master students that are working in related units in public establishments.

-Learning the effect of capacity on level of service

Course Content

Capacity and related concepts, factors that effect capacity, service level, capacity analysis in inter urban roads, three-way intersection capacity analysis, four-leg intersection capacity analysis, signalize intersection capacity analysis, ramp section capacity analysis, roundabout capacity analysis, pedestrian roads capacity analysis, capacity enhancing methods.
