Course Content

One of the most necessity issue to do for cities doesn’t face transportation and traffic problems that ‘Urban Traffic Management and Control’. The issue of ‘Traffic Management and Control’ is using city’s existing transportation infrastructure optimum and providing urban mobility of pedestrians, drivers and vehicles in a suitable traffic hierarchy. Designing the traffic sirculation that gives the urban the best traffic hierarchy, using traffic direction(horizontal-vertical) and regulation signalization in most suitable way and enough degree, using traffic signalization system with optimum supply and speciality in suitable way, enhancing existing infrastructure and using infrastructure efficiently, using intelligent tranportation systems (camera, dedector, VMS etc.) most effectively, educating the drivers, pedestrians and passengers, supplying traffic control system, using technologic controlling system beside manpower uncompromisingly; makes up ‘Traffic Management,Controlling and Planning’ subject theme.
