Course Objectives: Presenting the necessity of accessibility for the benefits of disableds in public sphere. In this context, understanding the necessities for design for everybody and universal design, generating social awareness.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
Course Learning Outcomes are:

I. Designing life environment of different physical disableds and having empaty ability in terms of different consumer behaviour

II. Having well examined results and ability of doing test of these in similar measures and standards.

III. Critical thinking ability: clear and explicit questioning, using abstract thought for expressing the idea

IV. Disableds and disabled rights in terms of public sphere services

Course Content

Defining, classification and specification of disabled. Legal framework, design errors in physical environmet, necessity and providing of accesability, disscussing of precautions in public sphere, universal design, precautions in physical environment.
