| The First and Emergency Aid Program is a two-year associate degree program that prepares students to provide rapid, accurate, and effective care in life-threatening emergencies. The curriculum combines theoretical and practical training in basic and advanced life support, trauma management, patient assessment, emergency medical services, ambulance operations, and disaster response.
The educational objectives of the First and Emergency Aid Program at Bahçeşehir University Vocational School of Health Services are based on the needs of the healthcare sector, national occupational standards, and stakeholder expectations.
The program aims to educate First and Emergency Aid Technicians who can deliver pre-hospital emergency care, provide basic and advanced life support, make timely decisions, perform essential emergency interventions, ensure the safe transport of patients, uphold professional ethics, and contribute to public health.
Graduates may work in the Ministry of Health Provincial Ambulance Service (112), ambulance command and control centers, public, private, municipal, and university ambulance services, emergency departments, as well as motorcycle, air, and marine ambulance services.
