Profile of the Program

Our Clinical Psychology Master's Program aims to bring students to a level of clinical competence based on scientific knowledge, ethical principles and versatile clinical competence in the field of mental health. The program provides advanced knowledge and skills in assessing individuals' mental problems, diagnosing psychological disorders, applying scientifically based psychotherapy approaches and developing effective intervention strategies. Students learn psychological assessment tools, clinical interviewing techniques and evidence-based psychotherapy approaches at theoretical and practical level and gain professional experience through clinical observation and supervision processes. The program also equips students with the competence to conduct research, interpret scientific data and produce studies that will contribute to the field of clinical psychology. Graduates of the Clinical Psychology Master's program are qualified to work as mental health specialists in university hospitals, private hospitals, mental health centers, rehabilitation centers, private clinics, educational institutions and public institutions. While the program provides a solid foundation for doctoral studies for students aiming for an academic career, it supports the development of an ethical, sensitive and scientifically based professional identity for graduates who want to work in the field of practice.
